The Sheep & The Goats (CE60)

Preparing for the coming WW3

Mat 25:31-32  "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats."

Since a born again Christian has been transformed from carnality, covetous, worldliness, selfishness, etc. to bear the fruit of the Spirit, so this is the simplest example of how God can separate the true Christians from the rest of the people.

Gal 5:22-24  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

The Sheep on the Right Hand

Mat 25:34-36, 40  "Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.'.. "And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'"

The sheep of God displays love, mercy, concern, compassion for the destitutes, unfortunate, poor and needy, strangers, widows, orphans, etc. since the Holy Spirit had transformed him by crucifying his flesh.

1Pet 4:1-4  Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles -- when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you.

The Goats on the Left Hand

Mat 25:41-46  "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 'for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.' "Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?' "Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.' "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

Merciless and Christians without love for one another are likely unsaved and will be judged in the he coming WW3.

1John 3:14  We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.

Brethren, note that all those covetous, unloving, merciless so-called brethren are destined to Hades, unless they repent, for whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? (1John 3:17-18)
