Wickedness Of Man's Heart (BW12)
Gen 6:5-6 Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.
Since the fall of man, man loved the Devil's deceptions, that God regretted creating us. God called Abraham out and isolated his descendants (both in Egypt and Canaan land) so that with His laws, the Israelites would become His special people by keeping His commandments and laws.
Mat 23:34 "Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city,"
The Israelites rebelled against Him by killing His prophets and so He sent them into exile. When the Israelites (full of faith) came back from exile, the Lord refused to grant them independence knowing that they would be more rebellious. Wickedness again increased, with the religious leaders being hypocrites, covetous, proud, arrogant, merciless, etc. that our Lord Jesus admonished them as servants of Satan (Mat 23).
Luke 16:13-15 "No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God."
God had to send His Son to be made flesh. But the religious leaders being covetousness then persecuted, reviled and killed our Lord Jesus.
John 20:21-22 So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit."
After the resurrection of our Lord, God gave every born again Christian the Holy Spirit to help them read, understand and keep His words.
2Cor 7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Strangely enough, even with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, last days' Christians just refuse to accept the love and concern of the Father but willingly accept the devil's lies and deceptions, which lead them to heresies, rebellions and damnation.
Brethren, are we living in the last days when we reject His words and truth and accept heresies such as prosperity gospel, hyper grace, lies, deceptions, etc. of false christs and false prophets?
God is love and out of His love for us He created us. Every evening He was with Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. But when man sinned, He tried to bring man back to holiness. He was so glad to find Enoch holy, that He took him back to heaven.
Unfortunately when most of His creations (including lazy, covetous, carnal and worldly Christians, for whom He came in the flesh to taste death on their behalf and to die for their sins), prefer the Devil's lies, it grieves Him for He could see His beloved children suffering the excruciating pain in the eternal lake of fire.
Brethren, if we walk with Him by keeping His words (just like Enoch), He will not regret creating humans, because He will be so delighted that we have completely surrendered ourselves to Him to be transformed into His image.
