Abomination Of Desolation (BW19)

'Understand Mysteries in Daniel'

Mat 24:15 "Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet,  standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand),

Our Lord Jesus directed us to read the book of Daniel for further understanding concerning End time Prophecies especially the 'Abomination of Desolation'.

Abomination of Desolation

Abomination - Satan, idolatry, abominable practices. Desolation - complete destruction of our faith in Jesus and His words.

So 'abomination of desolation' in the last days is likely the false, abominable temple of God or the Antichrist (Satan himself, masquerading as an angel of light), who with his great demonic powers, signs and wonders may deceive even the elects of God.

Dan 11:27, 29-31 "for the end will still be at the appointed time... At the appointed time he (king of the North) shall return and go toward the south; but it shall not be like the former or the latter. For ships from Cyprus (or Western nations) shall come against him; therefore he shall be grieved, and return in rage against the holy covenant, and do damage. So he shall return and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant. And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily [sacrifices,] and place there the abomination of desolation."

This is the first time that the 'abomination of desolation' is mentioned in the Bible. When the king of the North attack the king of the South, the Western nations will  attack him with all their modern arsenals, but he shall prevail. With new forces, they will conquer Jerusalem (sanctuary fortress), remove the daily [sacrifices] on the Temple Mount and replacing it with the false and abominable temple of God (abomination of desolation).

At the moment on the Temple Mount are the 'Dome on the Rock' and the Al-Aqsa mosque, which calls the Muslims to prayer - 5 times daily. So the king of the North will order the Muslims to remove the Al-Aqsa mosque and the Dome on the Rock to make way for the building of the abominable temple of God.

Who is this king of the North?

After the death of Alexander the Great, the Grecian Empire was divided into four kingdoms. General Seleucas was the king of the north, who ruled the former Persian Empire - present day Iran (Persia), Iraq, Syria and Lebanon. Today, Iraq and Syria are in shambles caused by the various types of civil wars and also the Islamic State or IS, which is collapsing fast.

Dan 11:36a "Then the king (of the North) shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods"

The king of the north will be the End time Antichrist for after he has built the temple (:31) he will sit there declaring himself God.

2Thess 2:3-4 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in their temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

From Daniel, the Antichrist will head the former Persian Empire. He will remove the Al-Aqsa mosque and build the abominable temple there.

Warning: Throughout history, Satan has been using famous theologians and historians to discredit the book of Daniel thus preventing many Christians from knowing the truth.
