How to be Free from Heresies? (CW31)

'World War 3 is at Hand'

Will Iran send its full arsenal to attack Israel and the Western bases once its nuclear facilities are attacked?

Jesus was a Jew
Jesus was a Jew on earth whose teachings were in line with the Law of Moses because to do otherwise, it would be sin. For forty days after His resurrection, He taught His disciples the truth of the New Covenant of His blood:-
1. How He fulfilled the Law and then made the Old Covenant obsolete with the New Covenant
2. Gospel of Christ or grace
3. Truth of His words - instructions, teachings, commandments, great commission, parables, etc.
So the Apostles' Epistles are the very teachings of the resurrected Jesus Himself.

Teachings of Risen Christ
Luke 24:44-45  Then He said to them, "These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me." And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.
Our Risen Lord was with His disciples for 40 days before he went back to heaven and He taught them how He had fulfilled the prophecies in the Old Testament.
He also opened up their understanding of Scriptures and the knowledge of truth in His gospel, teachings, words, commands and parables.
Paul was led into the wilderness, where our Lord personally taught him the gospel of grace and the truth of His words. So Paul's Epistles are also the teachings of our Lord Himself.

Gospel Preached by our resurrected Lord
Luke 24:46-47  Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Jesus taught us the Gospel of grace. New converts must believe Jesus and accept the Gospel of grace that :-
1. Jesus was the Christ, the Son of God and the Word made flesh
2. He suffered and was killed (crucified). At the cross He poured out His blood for the remission of our sins
3. He died and having overcome death, He set us free from the fear of death.
4. On the third day, He rose from the dead
5. He gave the Holy Spirit of redemption to dwell within all those who believe the Gospel thereby making them to become born again Christians.
Paul preached the same gospel as that of our Lord Jesus
I Cor 15:3-5  For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.

Christian Faith
As soon as Christianity was legalized in the Roman Empire (4th Century AD), the councils of bishops had produced the following:
1. the Apostles Creed
2. the Septuagint, the Greek version of the OT
3. 27 canon books of the New Testament in original Greek.
Thank God that He has given us the Christian creed and His pure word (bible) to help us.

Heresies will deny, reject or contradict the following truth

1. Attributes of God (Triune Godhead,  Almighty, truth, love, faithful, cannot sin nor lie)
2. Divinity of Jesus
3. Word of Jesus
4. Teachings in the Epistles
5. Gospel of Jesus
6. Message of the Cross

Occults, cults and heretic practices and wrong denominational doctrines will trespass one or more of the above truth.
